Now the third step is don't use free hosting for your blog because it is the worst step taken because if you will use free hosting then your webpage load speed will get very slow and google will not rank your articles. The policy of Google is that they rank websites whose load speed is very fast. I want to recommend that you should use high-speed hosting or if you don't have money then use blogger because it is google product and also it's speed is very good.
The fourth step is that you should not use a free subdomain or free .tk, .ml, .ga, etc domains because they are not good for blogging. The main reason is that when you will apply for Google Adsense then it will not approve your website so you should buy a custom domain.

The fifth point is that write your articles SEO friendly that is you should search for keywords and then use them in your article. But don't use them to many times because it will hurt Google policy.
The sixth point is that you should write a meta description for your site that is what is your site is about in short and also whenever you write an article please also write article description and write labels.
The seventh point is that there are the links of your articles these links are known as permalinks you should write these links as short as possible with the main focus keyword in use.

The eighth point is that you should make backlinks now before going further I want to explain you want are backlinks so backlinks are the links that are of your site and are placed on the people site in the form of pictures links, text links, or other forms. Google uses this for knowing that is your site is good how much people are recommending your site and this also increases your traffic because people click on the backlink and came to your site now you have to ask some bloggers to put a link for your site in their article but this depends to whom you are asking so I want to suggest you that you should make your own blogs and then put links of your main blog but don't do it in bulk because if you do this in a large number then google can ban your blog also. You can put a link to your website in the comments of other's people articles they are also called backlinks and it is free.
