HTTP HYPERTEXT TRANSFER PROTOCOL
Determines how different programs exchange data over the internet the http is the standard protocol used by the world wide web. It defines how messages are formatted and transmitted and what is the web servers and browsers should take in response to various commands. Hypertext is a system in which different types of documents/ files, such as images, sound effects, and text are linked to each other. The Hypertext Transfer Protocol is responsible for accessing hypertext documents only world wide web. To visit any website, we must type its URL which has a standard format. The 'http' part of the URL signals the device that the requested file is n 'http' file. Now we would talk about HTTPS
HTTPS stand for Hypertext Transfer Protocol Secure. While HTTP is a protocol which allows the packing of www, resources, set HTML documents. HTTPS is used for secure communication over a computer network, and is widely used on the internet.
HTTPS protocol encryption information or data using Transport Layer Security (TLS) Certificate or its predecessor, Secure Socket Layer (SSL) certificate. The certificate establishes a secured connection all data transmission between the server and the browser. ATMs state the data which is in transactions in private and is not misused by fraudsters  and cybercriminals. The main difference between http and https protocols are given below.
HTTP

  • It is the foundation of any data exchange on the web.
  • Information on data flows from server to the browser and unencrypted
  • Http allows access to hypertext files.
HTTPS

  • It is a variant of HTTP.
  • HTTPS protocol encrypts the information or data using Transport Layer Security (TLS).
  • HTTPS is used to transfer confidential information over the internet, example financial information, login credentials, etc.
